Quimby's Logo & Collateral

September 2010: logo, collateral

Given the opportunity to develop an imaginary rebranding of a self-selected business or organization, I decided to redesign Quimby's Bookstore's logo and collateral. Wanting to draw attention to the Quimby's D.I.Y., hands-on approach, I created a logo that reflects the time-consuming process of working with hand-set type and collateral that requires actual human penmanship and interaction. To save on costs and trees, I devised a quick system for employees to denote how they can be reached individually in one simple format.
